Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:25PM Traditionally, these boats were hand built without nails. They dot the slow paced sleepy skyline of Zanzibar. Most of them are still powered completely by wind and sail, so one can still hear the light splashing of sea when sitting on one.
Friday, July 16, 2010 at 6:37PM this little old lady was banging on the window of the car trying to sell necklaces. i said i didn't want her necklaces but would be happy to give her a couple bucks if i could take a shot of her. she seemed quite delighted at the prospect of that.
